Flickr Group Setup for Fearless February Sew-Along

Thanks to TLC246's request/ suggestion (thanks Lady)  I've setup a Flickr group for us to share out Fearless February sewing progress and final pieces!!! To be honest I hadn't even thought about doing this and actually never used Flickr. Well I've set up the group and here's the link.....

Here's a screen shot.....

For you Flickr experts is this all of the info you need to access the site. I left the site public so everyone should be able to view.
I'm still getting acclimated to the site and will post my progress on tomorrow. I have a coat that's finished (will post sneak peak) and am starting on some of the other items. I can't wait to see what you guys have accomplished. I've seen some of your progress and you guys are on FIRE! I LOVE it!!! I know one person who definitely is. I see you Faye (over at Faye's Sewing Adventures) sewing up that remarkable "Vera" coat!!! Looking good!!!

Anyhow, it's way past my bedtime and I've got lots of sewing to do. This month feels like it's getting away from me. Again if I didn't set up the Flickr group right or forgot to add something just let me know!

Happy Sewing.....and Happy Valentine's Day!!!! May you feel extra loved and special today and continually so all year long!!!

  1. Ok! I'll play along - I've been a lurker on your site for a while now! I'm not a clothing seamstress yet, although I do know it's in my DNA. My grandmother Audra was a master seamstress. She worked in a local, small-town sewing factory that made clothes for Neiman Marcus. She could just look at something, and make a pattern, then whip it right up. She could sew the most delicate fabrics, including silks from the Orient. I was always dressed to kill thanks to her expertise. I'm trying to conjure her spirit to help me in my paltry attempts at sewing, so I'll post a couple of pictures of the projects I am working on to your flickr group. I'm also into designing my own fabric, and have found the coolest site to help me with. I'll tell you about that later. Thanks for doing this challenge, Victoria - I've needed some motivation!

  2. It's good to hear it's going well for other people. I was planning to join in but I spent the last 2 weeks moving home and I've only just woken up the sewing machine today. :-)

  3. Okay, I've loaded my backside jeans selfie because if that's not fearless, I don't know what is. Photos as Stormageddon2 (ask my son about that one). I can't think of a better way to figure out fit on jeans than a series of merciless photos at waist level. The next pair are going to be perfect, but three pairs in, the worst ones fit better than any other pants I've made or bought so far.
