Oh the Places You will GO----INDEED!!!!

I received the Dr. Seuss book, "Oh The Places You Will Go", complete with personal inscriptions from co-workers and friends as a college graduation gift several years back. I smile when I think of that title because in truth you don't know where you'll end up in life and what wonderful opportunities lay ahead.

I couldn't have been more reminded of this truth on today. Just a little while ago I discovered that the wonderful Robin, over at A Little Sewing, was given the opportunity to be the new Editor for the Vogue Pattern Magazine. You've got to read her AMAZING story here. She's a fellow blogger who have been offering wonderful insights into her sewing for several years. Her faithfulness, persistence, and sheer love for sewing helped open the door to a greater opportunity. I can't express how excited I am for her!!!! I can't think of anyone more deserving. And I'm also deeply inspired!!! In life you never know who's watching. It pays to just be you and do what brings you joy. Have the courage to pursue your passion!!!! You never know where it might lead you.........

My Father sent the same book for my nephew for his High School Graduation because he was going right into the Marines. Good book ;)

It's a joy indeed to see a fellow blogger get such deserved recognition. You're wonderful take on the 10,000 hours concept has certainly inspired me and I bet so many others to enjoy the process and progress of our sewing adventures.
