I recently made this pattern
HERE and decided to crank out another version for a Holiday party I attended on tonight. I love this version with this fabric. When I bought this fabric I just KNEW it would be used for a wrap dress. Since I reviewed it a few days ago, I'm only going to show the pictures. I braved the cold and dark to bring these to you.....ok, maybe it's not quite that dramatic....but what else are you gonna do in a crunch to get the job done:) Here goes.....
(Fabric up close. Excuse the blurriness)
Ok, I think that's enough wrap dresses for one week. I REALLY want a black one but will hold off on it. So many other things to sew. On to the next thing.......
This is another great dress! Both versions are fantastic on you!
ReplyDeleteThis dress is beautiful on you! I love this pattern.
ReplyDeleteNice dress, Victoria. You can never have too many wrap dresses. Their comfortable and figure flattering.
ReplyDeleteLooks good! I think you have another tnt pattern here.
ReplyDeleteLovely dress and love me some wrap dresses.
ReplyDeleteLooks fantastic. I bought the same fabric and put it away at the end of summer. great to see how it looks sewn up.
ReplyDeleteI love both versions but am especially taken with this print. I love the colors and the scale of the print. It is very flattering on you. I know what you mean about so many other things to sew! I constantly edit my list because I need casual clothing (being retired) but I want wrap dresses, sheaths, elegant tunics. I sew on my basic wardrobe for a time, then reward myself with a dress or draped tunic.
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely! I've made this pattern up once, and have more plans for it in a similar fabric to yours. Oh, and I'm often cruising by here, checking up on your 10,000 hours. Looking forward to seeing the tally for 2011!
ReplyDeleteLook gorgeous as always. The dress is perfect. How did we live before knit dresses?
ReplyDeleteNice!!
ReplyDeletevictoria, it's really pretty dress. I don't know how on earth you found time to sew a dress right before christmas! nice work.
