(My version is super long so I can wear it with heels. I'm wearing it with flip flops here.)

McCall's 6083 again......another jumpsuit!
As I mentioned in my sewing goals on yesterday I just completed another jumpsuit! I promise you this is the EASIEST thing to sew up. Just takes a few short hours. And it's SO comfortable. You may recall my black version. I've had it cut out and ready to sew for a couple of weeks. I finally was able to stitch it up a few days ago and wear it to a dinner party on last night. It was a big hit!!! I have Erica B. to thank for the inspiration! I loved her gray version and since I didn't want to make it in another dark color like brown or a light color like white (which is TOO light and a dirt magnet), gray seemed like a better option for me. I think the fabric is a polyester knit in Heather gray. I do have a 3rd version in the works. It's cut out in navy blue suiting (I plan to sew it up before the months' end). I could wear one everyday!!! Ok that's going overboard LOL! You know what I mean. I Jumpsuits!!!!

Look at you! I can't believe you are just rocking flops in those photos. You look so lean and leggy!
ReplyDeleteyou have enough pieces to do a fashion show.... I just know you do. Your passion and work ethic are inspiring....great job Victoria
ReplyDeleteLooks gorgeous......I would love to sew one too!
ReplyDeleteLooks great and so comfortable! I think you'd look really good in one with a V-neck, too. =]
ReplyDeleteYou are really selling this pattern! It looks so appealing, and when you say it is both comfortable and easy to sew, well, that seals the deal! lol
ReplyDeleteWhere I live in suburban London, I see a lot of women in woven jumpsuits with little tiny flower patterns and elastisized ankles.
I want to be you! haha...I have a capri length jumpsuit planned for August which I think will work with my 5'1" frame.
ReplyDeleteToo cute! Is that not the easiest and most fashionable thing you just throw on and go?! I love mine!
ReplyDeleteWow another great TNT for you! You can't beat comfort, beauty and inexpensive!! This is definitely a winner!!
ReplyDeleteYou look absolutely fabulous!
ReplyDeleteYou look great in your new jumpsuit. I love jumpsuits and used to wear them a lot years ago, but I have gained weight and don't think they look good on me any more.
ReplyDeleteSuper Cute! I want to make a jumpsuit, too, but I'm looking at a different pattern...maybe you'd like it, too, since you're on a roll! It's kwiksew 3229. Only one person has reviewed which surprised me since the scoop neck/wide leg style with a belt has been on the runway a lot lately...I actually saw the idea on pinterest a while ago. Anyways...it's next in my stash...hope my results are as darling as yours!
ReplyDeleteWell JUMP for joy! That is totaly cute!
ReplyDeleteNice..., This pattern is worth a second visit. Just this morning I was thinking about making another jumpsuit.
