Another Tank Dress-- McCall's 6559

I slipped in making another Tank Dress before the month ended. You may recall that I made and reviewed my first one a few weeks ago. I have to admit that I rather like this second version as well. It's made out of a cotton knit that I picked up at Wal-Mart a few weeks ago. The fabric which to me is a little reptilian and ethnic looking consisted of bold vertical stripes which I felt if placed right would make for an interesting effect. I also used dark brown bias binding to finish up the neckline and armholes.
Hope to get photos in it soon to post. Can't say how great this pattern is enough!

  1. Victoria, I made this dress from the same fabric. It washes very well, btw. I like how you used the contrasting binding on your verson. Tyna

  15. I love your material choice, I am going to have to check our walmart to see if they have that one. My sewing room is all packed away and I can only drool over the sewing projects that are getting completed in blogland.
