I added a Chat Box (upper right corner, under my photo) to my blog for those of you who want to do a little talking about sewing. I've been meaning to do this for AGES and finally got around to it. I understand everyone doesn't have a blogger login and not everyone wants to send an email--so here's some middle ground for you:) Feel free to leave your comments, questions, thoughts about sewing. I'd love to respond to them.
Looking forward to chatting with you:)
FYI: I'm also a networked Blog so if you'd like to follow me through Face Book then you can click on "Follow this Blog" in the NetworkBlogs box (located under the Members box, below on the right). Just trying to keep things easy around here. Enjoy your day:)
I am falling behind on techy stuff. :O) But I can blog! LOL
ReplyDeleteTrust me Texan, I'm right there with you. I've seen this on other sites for years and that's the only reason I even know about it. Hey we can't have all of that techy stuff diverting our attention from sewing, can we? LOL!
ReplyDeleteI am a fairly creative person - I am quite good at knitting and embroidery etc though I dont do it much anymore. I do illustration professionally and am trying to get back into the fashion industry again with a career change. My question is- for a beginner- is it necessary to take a sewing class? I have heard both good and bad things about classes- too many students, only one teacher etc. Can I learn the basics on my own and maybe take a class later for more technical info? Any advice would be appreciated. I live in England and where I live outside of london it is really hard to find good classes unless one enrols in a fashion degree program. regards,Kate
