Elle, that...Thanks Ladies for your kind comments:)

Elle, that's cool! You're right it is indeed a very small world:)

Tamara, thanks for the heads up, I figured as much. Aside from the work I have to do, my mind won't be too far from sewing. Thanks for the tips on the weather. I'm looking forward to the trip:)

Gwen, thank for the nomination--I'm so honored. I posted something on your blog (wink)!Victoriahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15055410123914346485noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3699537904435529619.post-80652146349625126192010-03-21T07:32:09.872-07:002010-03-21T07:32:09.872-07:00Hi! Then, add it to your sidebar, if you care to.

The rules of the award are listed on my post.gwensewshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05809115166600229262noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3699537904435529619.post-31061244274745499692010-03-21T02:04:14.548-07:002010-03-21T02:04:14.548-07:00Unfortunately, I am pretty confident you will not...Unfortunately, I am pretty confident you will not find a fabric store in Barrow. Barrow will not be like anything you have ever seen before! If you have any time in Anchorage (or the Valley) we have a couple of fabric options. Really though, fabric shopping will probably be the last thing on your mind. There is so many great places to see and things to do that you won't have time for fabric. We really don't have anything you can't get elsewhere (aside from Kuspik patterns and Alaskan themed ribbon and trims :) ).

Oh, if you are going in August I would pack layers. I don't think it is usually that cold during the summer (30's - 40's). I spent one summer up there (mid 90's) and it got into the mid 50's and up there that feels quite warm (especially if you are working)but then I think the next week it snowed. The weather really varies up there.Tamarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06829330814654158050noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3699537904435529619.post-69282246261834756152010-03-19T16:19:00.461-07:002010-03-19T16:19:00.461-07:00Wow - that Arctic Circle trip sounds really exciti...Wow - that Arctic Circle trip sounds really exciting. I get itchy when I can't sew, too, so I have lots of sewing planned for this weekend... Sewing is (usually!) a relaxing activity and it de-stresses me, so when I can't do it I get all wound up! I'm glad you'll get some machine time in soon.KID, MDhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16317731987862366557noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3699537904435529619.post-73640575632920774542010-03-19T00:36:26.525-07:002010-03-19T00:36:26.525-07:00It's interesting that you have withdrawal symt...It's interesting that you have withdrawal symtoms when you have not done a stitch...
