I do illustration professionally and am trying to get back into the fashion industry again with a career change. My question is- for a beginner- is it necessary to take a sewing class? I have heard both good and bad things about classes- too many students, only one teacher etc. Can I learn the basics on my own and maybe take a class later for more technical info? Any advice would be appreciated. I live in England and where I live outside of london it is really hard to find good classes unless one enrols in a fashion degree program. regards,KateAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3699537904435529619.post-34932206932980920412011-09-13T06:04:29.659-07:002011-09-13T06:04:29.659-07:00Trust me Texan, I'm right there with you.
